The Charity Walk and Run Competition “Vichaivej Mini Marathon” to win HRH Princess Sirindhorn Cups
Dr.Suwat Sidthilaw, permanent secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports presided over the opening the charity Walk and Run competition “Vichaivej Mini Marathon” 10.5km to win Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn cups. This competition was joint collaboration between Vichaivej International Hospital Group and Arthritis Foundation to honor Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on Sunday February 24, 2013 at Utthayan Road, Puttamonthon, Nakornpathom province. Over 2,000 runners and walkers also participated.
Assoc. Prof. VichaiVanadurongwan,M.D.,Ph.D.,FIMS, presided as the Chairman stated that “Vichaivej International hospital Group and Arthritis Foundation have realized the importance of exercise and sports, that are also helpful in healthy development of youth and people both physically and mentally. This event was also an opportunity to educate the public known as Sports medicine clinic and Orthopedic Clinic, aiming to encourage Thai people to exercise and participate in health-related activities. All proceeds after expense deduction will be donated to the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Foundation. The event was an exhibition of health; new innovation check up from Vichaivej International hospital Group with more than 30 agencies jointed the booth.”
